A prince who prefers to spend his time with commoners against his family’s wishes. As is custom with all Azurans, he has a Griffin familiar. His Griffin most resembles a lion, signifying Klaus’ loyalty to those he holds dear.

His best friend was Victor, a pleasant boy shunned by the town for his Griffin’s bad omen. Despite his best intentions, Klaus strained their relationship when he was officially coronated and pledged allegiance to his royal duties.

When Victor flees Azura, Klaus follows in hopes to make things right, and meets new friends along the way.
