Not traditional, but still tasty and very easy! You will need Okonomi (or Tonkatsu) sauce and Kewpie mayo. The rest of the ingredients you can get inexpensively at any grocery store.
Ingredients
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup water
1 egg
2 slices of turkey bacon or ham (fried)
Handful of chopped cabbage or kale
Okonomi (or Tonkatsu sauce) and Kewpie mayo for topping
Instructions
Roughly chop kale or cabbage, you can also shred the cabbage if you prefer. Set aside.
Fry turkey bacon or ham in a small amount of oil. Remove from pan and roughly chop, then set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix together flour and water.
Add egg and mix thoroughly.
Add meat and veggies, stir until combined.
In the same pan you fried the meat, add a small amount of oil. Heat on medium and add the batter, smoothing it out into a pancake.
Flip when edges bubble and appear puffy and slightly golden, about 2 minutes per side.
